New RMT: Last Stand

Hi everyone! I've made a new RMT today and this time i will be just showing how I wanted to make the team. Enjoy!!

I wanted to have a good wall with a suicide attack so I gave it EXPLOSION!!!!
Hee hee hee... anyways  it also has earthquake, SR, and stone edge.

I wanted a Bulky water and Blastoise seemed to do well. He has Toxic, Surf, ice beam, and protect. Basically I toxic and protect to stall. I also give it leftovers to restore health between turns.

My competitive battle team

Hey guys. I've been making a team made for heart gold and this is what I've come up with. I will break down my team and review each one of them. I've already done one of them. Today I will do Gliscor. Enjoy!

Gliscor: Gliscor is a great balanced Pokemon to have on the battlefield and can cream opponents with his attacks.
U-Turn: This is a good scouting move that I use to get away from pursuiters for free! Plus Celebi will hate my guts for it! Lol!!!
Roost: Always helps to have a recovery move on my side. Just beware that roost gets rid of your Flying type so earthquakes can hit you.
Earthquake: This is G-man's main way of attacking. does a solid amount though.
Taunt or Stealth rock: SR if your feeling lucky for a free turn or Taunt to stop other SRs and spikes frome hurting you.

Gliscor has a double weakness to ice so if a water comes in, get G-Man out of there!!!

Pokemaniac's fav pokemon               !!

Pokemon Review: Tentacruel

Overview:Tentacruel makes a powerful addition to the OU section and his unique typing allows him to easily switch into Infernape easily, a blessing to tons of gamers. Tentacruel has a strong movepool and great SP defense, attack, and speed making him a valuable part of many decks.
Movepool: Surf: Tentacruel has higher SP attack than attack so surf is the better choice, seeing he also gets STABs on it making him a great sweeper.
Sludge Bomb: Sludge Bomb makes a great addition for him and gets another STAB on it.
Toxic Spikes: Set this up with a stealth rock from your other teammates, and your ready to go!
Giga Drain: This is how you handle Swampert and other bulky water from hurting you, plus it makes a pretty good recovery move.
Ability: Clear body: This will make sure it can face off against Salamence and Gyarados without attack loss.
Counters: Earthquake can rip into Tentacruel if not ready with Giga Drain and if he doesn't have earthquake, electric attacks work pretty well.

Korika Region Legends Unleashed!

Today I'm going to start making a story in a place called the Korika region. It's about two young boys named Matt and Jolua who journey across the Korika region and training to be the pokemon champion. Here's the prologue.

It was a dark and cloudy night. Ho-oh was soaring the skies in search of the legendary dogs, Suicune, Entei, and Raikou. "Where could they be at a time like this?" he sighed. "If I could find them then no one would be in trouble. Why oh why did they have to go into this region? If they go to The Place then there will only be one hope for us then, even though I think he IS our only hope. Besides HE would never lose to HIM!" Ho-oh knew each of the dogs personalities by heart. Entei was a fiery dog in both powers and personality and was always getting into fights. But Ho-oh also knewhe could be gentle as well. Raikou was a timid dog almost afraid of everything, especially of snakes. But possibly the most dangerous one of all was Suicune with his curiousity which sometimes gets him in trouble. He always has to see everything! Ho-oh continued into the night sky thinking to himself what he was going to do with the dogs. And this is the start of the legend of the Korika Region!

The allies of tommorow

I decided to make a team of my favourite characters  in a team of six. Here's what I made up!

Jobs?

Today I am going to post things I call jobs. Jobs are the special thing each creature gets I will show you now.
Sweepers:Creatures that hit hard and fast. They usually have massive attack and great speed allowing them to pound those weak spots. Finish them while they're weak!! There are special sweepers for special attackers, physical sweepers for attackers, and mixed sweepers for both.
Walls: Pokemon with great defenses and can take multiple hits from strong attackers. Some examples are Steelix and Skarmory. Just like sweepers there are physical walls and special walls.
Wall breakers: There name describes it all! They beat up walls like nothing. Heracross is a good example of one.
Bulky waters: These bad boys are water types with tons of health and either SP defense or normal defense. They can take hits like a tank easily.
Leads: Leads are the first pokemon you should send out. They usually set their opponents up with attacks like Stealth Rock to give them a hard time. Pretty annoying to face against if you ask me.

Well that's about it. I should probably pack up now. Have a nice day!

Tiers

Welcome everyone! Today for all of the beginners, I'm going to explain what tiers are for today.
Tiers: Tiers are basically what level gameplay pokemon are in. For example, NU ( never-used ) are pokemon that aren't that popular. They don't have the highest attack stats and sometimes not that good of a movepool. They can still attack pretty tough though and can sometimes fit in th UU section.
UU ( under-used ): These critters are more of the standard term and a lot of them can hit pretty hard. Some UU's are Houndoom, Steelix, and Feraligatr.
BL ( border-line ): These pokemon are super powerful UU's, but just can't break the borderline.
OU ( over-used ): These guys pack a whallop with their attacks and usually have great defenses. Some examples are Swampert, Skarmory, and Heracross.
UBER: These pokemon are mostly legendaries and have monstrous attack or defense. Some examples are Groudon, Ho-oh, and Foretress.

Welcome.

Welcome to my blog. I am Pokemaniac and I do pokemon reviews. I also make pokemon stories which I will post in bits for you. I can't wait to get started! For today I decided to post my favourite of the Eeveelutions, Jolteon.

Overview:Jolteon is considered a speed freak and is one of the fastest OU electrics in the game. while defense is poor, it's attack is amazing! Great sweeper in my opinion!
Ability:Volt Absorb: heals a quarter of Jolteons health if hit by an electric attack. Enough said?
Moveset: Thunderbolt: Great sweep move to use. With Jolteon's awesome attack, It can hit like a bazooka!
Hidden Power Grass: This is used to stop Swampert and Quagsire from hurting it. Jolteon's good special attack will make this reliable in most teams.
Substitute: Use this to add more defense to Jolteon. Let's you put up a few double teams before breaking.
Double Team: Jolteon's bad defense could use some reajusting so double team will make sure to stop attack s from hitting.
Counters: Swampert or any ground type move should stop it, and a bulky water might withstand thunderbolt and get a hit in. Just be sure it doesn't get ANY double teams in or it will POUND you!

Well, that's all for today. Thanks for reading viewers!!
