Overview:Tentacruel makes a powerful addition to the OU section and his unique typing allows him to easily switch into Infernape easily, a blessing to tons of gamers. Tentacruel has a strong movepool and great SP defense, attack, and speed making him a valuable part of many decks.Movepool: Surf: Tentacruel has higher SP attack than attack so surf is the better choice, seeing he also gets STABs on it making him a great sweeper.
Sludge Bomb: Sludge Bomb makes a great addition for him and gets another STAB on it.
Toxic Spikes: Set this up with a stealth rock from your other teammates, and your ready to go!
Giga Drain: This is how you handle Swampert and other bulky water from hurting you, plus it makes a pretty good recovery move.
Ability: Clear body: This will make sure it can face off against Salamence and Gyarados without attack loss.
Counters: Earthquake can rip into Tentacruel if not ready with Giga Drain and if he doesn't have earthquake, electric attacks work pretty well.
